The core terms
Here, chastity is freely chosen self-discipline, not compulsion. Chastity-keeping is the lived practice over a defined period. Keyholding describes the person who holds “the key” — usually the dominant partner, who decides on rhythm, duration and conditions.
Tease & denial and the keyholder
Tease and denial is the dynamic heart: deliberately building tension that is intentionally not resolved right away. The keyholder unites control with care — watching boundaries, reading signals, adjusting pace. Control without attentiveness is not leadership.
Psychology, consent & safety
