Shortly afterwards a larger group of women entered the lobby – clearly a bachelorette party. Glittering sashes, champagne glasses in hand, loud laughter. Two of them stopped immediately, turned to Louis and watched him quite openly. Whispering started. Subtle gestures pointed at his blouse, at the narrow waist, at the somewhat too narrow shoulders.
